For over 60 years, Gil Andres has been building Dallas. Before founding ANDRES Construction Services in 1991 alongside Wade Andres and Dinah Hays, he built some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks at Henry C. Beck Company — Fountain Place, Reunion Tower, and Cityplace. His construction career spans from 1955 to present, making him one of the longest-tenured builders in Texas history.
Gil’s guiding philosophy is simple: ANDRES is in the people business. Client satisfaction requires listening and responding to specific needs — not selling capabilities. That philosophy has produced a client retention rate that no competitor in the Texas market can match.
As Chairman of the Board, Gil remains active in the company he built, providing the institutional memory that spans seven decades of Texas commercial construction.
